We understand how annoying this must be.
It was our manager's fault that you were not informed straight away that your ID card doesn't meet our requirements (validation period is less than 6 months).
As your ID document is expired, you are still requested to provide VALID personality proof document, i.e. passport/ID card/driving license with the minimum validation period of 6 months.
Also, your ScotiaBank letter cannot be accepted as it does not feature its issue date.
We still ask to provide paper-issued utility bill, bank statement or residential certificate of 3 recent months with your full name, address and date.
